Fishing at IRRI...

One of my favorite things at IRRI (aside from the library and the coffee), is playing with the fishes in the pond in front of the IRRI cafeteria (it's now called Pila Delights, previously Riceland). The fishes are really wily, they know if a person approaches the pond, and makes a beeline towards him thinking he'd be bringing bread as feeds. They swim so fast towards the source of food. I pity the turtles present. No matter how many times I tried to throw some bread the turtles' way, naagawan pa rin ng mga isda. I've spend countless hours feeding the fishes, it is just so relaxing.
